Windows 7: Problem with online games and connectivity, often freezes for 2-3 secs

Hello, since I moved out and needed to start using a wireless connection rather than a straight to modem connection, when I am playing online games such as dota, dota 2 and tf2, every so often the game will freeze, usually for about 2 seconds then will resume as normal. I suspect this is a network issue, but dont really know whats wrong. I didnt start getting errors like this until I went wireless.



Any idea as to whats causing the problem and any possible solutions would be great.
