Windows Could Not Automatically Detect Systems Proxy Settings

Good Evening everyone. I am new here and I was hoping I could get some Expert Advise. (Story Time) A few years back when I got my 1st computer, Windows Vista, one of my friends set up the connection for it and returned my computer back to me, the connection was awesome, and there wasn't a single drop in connection for the longest time. Scenes then my old computer started getting problems with screen problems so I bought a new computer. Ones I got my new computer, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, it has always had connection problems! Example; I would be online and suddenly I would lose connection and the troubleshooter would say "Windows could not automatically detect system's proxy settings." So I went to YouTube for help, and I did everything they said to do in internet settings, proxy settings, and CMD settings, but it always has the random signal loss at the most random times! I asked my friend how he did the settings for my 1st computer, and unfortunately he has forgotten... So I have come to this forum post for help. I have some idea's as to why this is happening, like maybe my network is open, and their are to many people on it, or my driver is out of date, but before I mess with those setting's I want to make sure it isn't something really simple to fix. Any advise would be really appreciated!

Also most of my family has gotten new computer scenes then and them resetting the router every two minutes is quite frustrating. Also my phone oddly has a steady 5 bar connection all the time!
