RAS Asyc adapter unknown?

Hello Everyone,

I know that this is the Seven forums, but in my research I find that this adapter is in question through out the forums.
As I have now a Win8 notebook, can not remember my acct. info(win8 forum), So I am asking here.
(Q): located this adapter in hidden devices. I have win 8 and I have expirenced system encountered an error and needs to restart, upon restart wifi adapter for wireless is gone can not connect. |I have disabled the wifi adapter and rebooted this has fixed the issue .

As this problem has been persistent and has happened 4 times now, last time was not given the chance to disable only to enable, as I did and again this issue was fixed. My problem is why is this happening for one as well as the location of this unknown adapter is ghosted w/out being able to disable or uninstall, forums are mixed on this adapter. the reason i bring it up is because wondering if it is related?

Any thoughts?
