Cannot access shares after hibernate

Hi,

from my Win7 x64 system I'm accessing data on a WinXP-SP3 system or a shared directory on a NAS. Unfortunately this fails after the Win7 system had been put to hibernate and waked up again.

The network adapter, however, works fine. It can access the internet, it can ping the other system.

Explorer times out, net use returns with "System error 53 has occurred. The network path was not found."

After I reboot the Win7 system everything's fine again.

Any idea what might cause this and how I could correct it?

This may not be the answer you are looking for but I can't stand hybernation because it slows down my system. I still use sleep mode and when I wake everything is just great.
I know their is a specific purpose for hybernation file but for me it is just a drag.

I just found a temporary solution to MS's bad software (seriously, my Apple deals with samba networks a lot nicer!)
in Services manager (start>run>services.msc ,which is crucial to know if you're doing anything more than using word on your pc)
restart the service workstation,
it will ask you if it should restart some other services as well... allow that to happen.
It still requires you to do this manually (although it can be shorter by using a run prompt: "net restart Workstation" I guess) but it beats having to re-logon or restart
