First, welcome to the windows 7 forum Javadth.

Before anyone can really give you some advice, you will need to specify a bit more about what your modem nomenclature and model number is.

Also, changing MAC address is a bit more complicated.

Also you might fill in your system specifications to allow people who might have a response to understand what your dealing with.

The Mac address of an adsl modem/router is hard coded into the hardware and as far as I know, cannot be changed.

However, I understand some modem/routers enable you to clone the Mac address of your computer network card to the modem through advanced configuration.

If your ISP binds your connection to the MAC address of the modem/router and if you change the modem, you have to contact them and request that they rebind it to the new MAC address.

Javadth, One burning question in my mind, Why do you want to change the MAC address of your modem/router?
Also the model and make of your modem/router is very important..

If your modem/router permits MAC address cloning to your computer NIC's MAC address, you can find the how-to (configuration settings) in your modem/router manual.

For any focussed solution or further queries, we need to know what exactly is your problem that needs to be addressed, as richnrockville has queried.
