    Retrieving Wi-Fi password?

Hello, I've got a really retarded problem.

I forgot my Wi-fi password, which is stored on a PC running Windows XP. To retrieve it, I used Wireless Key View.

However, I only get the 64 character hex version, there is no ASCII version. (due to the network being WPA-PSK and on XP)

I need to log in to the same network using a Windows 7 PC, and Win7 does not recognise the hex key.

    Any fix?

Personally, I feel uncomfortable to advice in cracking passwords.

Most simple thing to do is to reset the router to factory settings, log in to router control panel and create a new WPA key.

If you do not know how to reset the router, please tell us its make and model so we might be able to tell it for you.

Lol, well I ain't doing anything bad. Just don't wanna go through the hassle and the long wait.

If I had another Win XP PC it would be just fine though.

As I said, the easiest way is to reset your router to factory settings, log in to it and set a new WPA password.
