honestsly just a pretty basic removal, used the control panel uninstall tool and then went through system/program files and deleted those obviously associated with those programs. I did that about 9mos ago when the free trial ran out and the connectivity issues started about 2 mos ago | My System Specs |

Possible solution Had the exact same problem with my new HP touch sleekbook. It kept disconnecting from the network every few minutes..... I tried everything I could think of, disabled firewall, various tools, changed virus software, various settings tweaked, startup items disabled etc etc ..... NOTHING WORKED....... Then I went on to my router and changed setting from auto channel selection to "always use channel five" (random choice) MY laptop has not disconnected once since....... Hope this helps you too..... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP SLEEKBOOK OS win7 64 bit CPU INTEL 1.7 DUAL CORE |

I do have a proxy connection with Privoxy going through a VPN I set up using Hamachi BUT...I don't currently connect to the internet through it anymore as Hamachi changed their EULA and features included in their freeware. So, Privoxy is turned off and Hamachi just runs in the background as a direct tunnel to my desktop. BUT, that too is always turned off unless I'm out of the house with my laptop on a public network, so I don't think that has any bearing, but thought I'd mention it in case anyone knew of any weird conflicts. Yes I've seen Hamachi cause connection problems on several occasions, the ipconfig/all would have told me you were running Hamachi. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8 Pro, CPU Q9650-4.275GHz, E8600 4.5GHz, E6750-3.8GHz Motherboard Evga 780i FTW Memory G.Skill PC2 9600 1200Mhz 5 5 5 15 2T Graphics Card GTX480 Sound Card Asus Xonar D2 Monitor(s) Displays HannsG Screen Resolution 1680X1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Mouse Logitech G9 PSU ThermalTake Toughpower 1000Watt modular Case ThermalTake XaserV Cooling Xigmatek S1283 Hard Drives GSkill Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD Internet Speed T1 |

It still does make a difference, i know its trivial but it will be forced off of the network if no reservation is made.
Also another small thing have you made sure that the NIC does not turn off to save power.
If you are still having issues with this, my best guess would be that your NIC is screwed. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Motherboard Gigabyte P57-UD3 Memory 2x 8GB RAM Graphics Card GTX 580 Monitor(s) Displays 1x BenQ 24" 1x ViewSonic 21" Screen Resolution 1920x1680 1280x1024 Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Razer Mamba Case Shinobi Windowless Cooling 3x Fans Hard Drives 1x solid state 1T

There is no point in diagnosing this problem further until you completely remove Hamachi as it's by far the most likely culprit here, been there done that.
The problem is that there are about ten different versions of Hamachi floating around, some work ok, some just seem to cause connection problems.
Uninstall it and get the connection working then try a different version of Hamachi. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8 Pro, CPU Q9650-4.275GHz, E8600 4.5GHz, E6750-3.8GHz Motherboard Evga 780i FTW Memory G.Skill PC2 9600 1200Mhz 5 5 5 15 2T Graphics Card GTX480 Sound Card Asus Xonar D2 Monitor(s) Displays HannsG Screen Resolution 1680X1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Mouse Logitech G9 PSU ThermalTake Toughpower 1000Watt modular Case ThermalTake XaserV Cooling Xigmatek S1283 Hard Drives GSkill Phoenix Pro 120GB SSD Internet Speed T1 |

@Chev-Uninstalled Hamachi (sad face, I really enjoyed that program, are you able to recommend any suitable alternatives?)
@ICit_ I have reset the modem in the past, even unplugged it for 5 mins once in a moment of desperation when I considered throwing it out in the middle of the street. I did that again.(unplugged it) and...along with the aforementioned actions no significant change. It did stay connected a little longer than 30 seconds ( couple mins at a time this time) but still disconnects. I diagnose the connection n figure I may as well post the results as well as it does seem to be able at least diagnose the issue each time it disconnects this time, whereas before it was pretty random as to whether or not it would diagnose ANYTHING. It consistently says "The connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the internet is broken" then as status "detected" with a yellow warning sign. Below that a second problem is stated saying "The default gateway is not available" status "fixed" with a green check mark. The second I've seen fairly frequently in the past when an issue is detected, at least. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Lenovo Win7 PC (Laptop) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit CPU Intel Core i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20 GHZ Memory 4 GB Graphics Card Intel HD Graphics Family (PCIe GBE Family Controller) Sound Card Realtek High Def Audio Hard Drives 300GB Lenovo laptop REFUSES to stay connected to internet(wifi AND lan) problems?
