Windows 7: Win7 virtual wifi, connected but no internet access.

This is a very strange issue for me and confused me for a long long time.



I have windows 7 pro installed, at the very beginning,I set up the virtual wifi and shared the internet to it. It worked well for mobile devices,very well.

But after weeks or months the virtual wifi suddenly lost the internet access. I mean all the mobile devices could connect to this wifi hot spot but could not access internet.Meanwhile the virtual wifi connection showed that it has internet access on the laptop.

The first time I met this issue, after long time researching, I reinstalled the OS. Then I repeated the whole procedure above and it worked for months. Now again.

Exactly the same symptoms.I tried many software just like Connectify and found they are the same in theory with Windows 7 netsh command.

I believe that's the firewall reason but I can't prove it for now. I tried to turn off the firewall and stopped the service but still helpless. I only have Microsoft firewall with default settings. I didn't install or change any software or settings between the virtual wifi works and doesn't work.

And I tested the physical wireless network,which connected to an access point,then shared the internet access to the virtual wifi, it worked well for mobile devices . So I tried to uninstall the NIC drive and reinstalled it,issue exists.

Now I'm exhausted.

Please help to analyse this...
