Laptop cannot stay connected to wireless after a standby

    Hello,
I feel as if I have 2 separate wireless problems.

    1)
Since about 2-3 days ago, my laptop wouldn't stay connected to wireless once I put the laptop on standby. I have to connect to it each time I open my laptop. This has never happened before so I feel like something went wrong.

    2)
My wireless won't connect to any other connections other than my home. I went on a ski trip recently, and while my wireless worked on my iphone and ipad, my laptop wasn't able to connect to it. I feel like this laptop has a lot of weird configuration problems. It also won't connect to my home network unless SSID is disabled. So this brings up the question, will my laptop never be able to connect to any network that has SSID enabled? This is really weird and frustrating because my laptop used to be able to connect to my home router fine while its SSID was enabled. I don't get what happened to it. This is troublesome because that means that I will never be able to use wireless anywhere else other than my home.

Can someone help me if there is anything wrong with my settings regarding wireless? Does anything seem abnormal?

Reinstalling the driver for the Intel 6300AGN would be my first option.

Other than that I would suspect that which ever Anti Virus software is installed may be causing this problem.
