Linksis Adapter Not Reconsied On Boot Up.

Hi all. I have a strange issue I can't seem to solve.

    I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.
    Mobo is Gigabyte H61MA-DV2

I have a Linksis WUSB300N wireless adapter and everytime windows starts I get a messge pop up above the tool bar that a USB device is not reconised and the l.e.d.s on the wirless adaptor are dead.

But when I unplug and plug the adapter back in the lights l.e.d.s light up the message goes and it connects to the network.

I'm running the same adaptor on the same OS on my other computer and I don't get any issues. So I need to resolve the problem of the USB wireless adapter not automaticly being reconised when windows starts up.
    Any ideas?

    Many thanks in advance
    Paul

Edit: When the adapter is unplugged the bios load up logo goes 3 times quick, so when the adapter is plugged in there a small delay on start up.

Are you using the USB stick via the Linksys Desktop docking station, Or directly plugging the Sick into the mobo?

If i'm right, Your using this kit:

Have you tried plugging the usb dongle directly into the computer and not through the desktop docking station that it comes with.

Try uninstalling the Driver in Properties, unplugging it, reboot computer, then reintsall it. Did it come with a Linksys install disc ?

Your motherboard has 2 USB 3.0 ports. Make sure the Dongle is not plugged in to either of these.

The dongle supports upto USB 2.0 MAX.

Thanks for all the replies. Its in the USB 2 slot as it work when windows loads and I simply unplug and plug it back in.
I have uninstalled it a few times and reinstalled.

The installation disk for some reason wont run now. So I downloaded the installation files from the Linksys website. But it still wont auto run. I have also chose to update the driver via device manager and selecting the correct file from the installation files I downloaded from the Lyksys site.

I have also updated to the lastes bios version. No luck
