    Have you installed the drivers for the device? Can you access the internet from your laptop?

    This is the laptop I am using. Device as in the 3G dongle? You dont need software. I believe the software is on the 3G itself.

    Okay. go the the ICS link i posted before and setup ICS so your PS3 can connect to your laptop for internet.

    It will be the same for your ps3 you will just need to let the ps3 automatically get an address from your laptop.

    I am trying to make use of a ps3proxy.

    Edit: Not to sound pushy ,but you still haven't answer my question as to why the pc is having not having a default gateway number, which i think might be the problem.
    The ps3 is giving me this dns error code 807101202.

    Post the whole ipconfig /all output.
    Is your laptop getting internet from the dongle?

    There should be a lot more information then that. Post a screen shot if you need to.

    Yes its connected, but are you connected to the internet from the dongle.


    type in the command:
    ipconfig /all > c:\ipconfig.txt

    Then navigate to c:\ and attach the txt file to your next reply.
