Windows 7: Cannot view other computers on network

Zone Alarm will do that or just about any third party A/V software for that matter.

I did think about that, so I had disabled the firewalls. Even with the firewalls disabled and after a restart I couldn't connect. So about half way through this thread I turned them back on. I am really not sure what it was, though I am not doubting that ZoneAlarm contributed to the issue.

It's working now though.
