    admin rights question

Hi, I am the administrator on my computer, I am adding another administrator, but I do not want the new user to be able to see my "my document" folder. I deny access to the administrator's group and keep access to myself. Yet I cannot access my own "my documents" folder unless I allow ALL admins.
    How can I change this?
    Thanks,
    Rick

Show permissions (make screenshot) of "my documents" folder. Press advanced tab. Post it.

Actually, unless you unhid the "real" Administrator account and are using that, you are NOT the Administrator on your PC. You're a general user with some elevated rights.

In XP, these were the same thing; Windows 7 came along and changed that so that new account are not actually full Administrator accounts by default.

If the new user is in the administrators group, no matter what you do, he will ALWAYS have full control over EVERYTHING on the computer, because admins have the right to take ownership and change permissions. What you're trying to do will stop him for a moment, but it's a barrier he can remove himself if he wants to. To prevent that, he cannot be an admin.
That said, the correct way to do what you want with the permissions is to deny full control on the specific user, not the whole admin group (because that catches you too).
