Can you see the Local network?.

Do you get an ip address from the Router?.
Open command prompt, (click start, Type cmd in the search box and press enter)
then type ipconfig and press enter. Scroll up, Let me know what is says your IP address is, along with Default Gateway.

DOes the Network card show "limited Or no connectivity"?.
Did you type the security code correctly?.
Last but not least, What is your wireless routers Encryption set to? WPA? etc etc.

Let me know the above information, this will help diagnosie whats wrong.

From what you are saying it sounds like either winsock or TCP/IP is corrupted. You can reset them both very easily.

You should run the following two commands, copy them one at a time into an elevated command prompt, hit enter after each one then reboot your machine.

If you have still having problems please post the ipconfig/all from this machine. :)

netsh winsock reset catalog (reset winsock entries)

netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (reset TCP/IP stack)

It would be prudent not to post your IP address here.

You do realize that the ipconfig/all won't show the WAN IP address, it only shows LAN or Local IP's. :)

I agree no WAN IP's allowed
