| | Thank you Brink! I have a in the box new Asus RT-N12 router. That information will be of great help. I looked and couldn't find a Tutorial for 101 router installation for two computers and one printer/scanner. I have never used a router or configured one. Beginners information i.e. (Can a router be used in Home Group and Work Group; which one is preferred.) |

| | Page seven was unintentionally funny. If you don't have enough ports on your router, don't buy another one and disable it's expensive routing, WiFi and firewall functionality. Buy a switch instead--it's what they're designed for. If you run out of router ports, buy a switch with enough ports for all of your computers and run one cable to the router. This will give you maximum performance and will be cheaper than buying another router. |
