Okay no problem, make sure you get the right driver from the link provided a couple of posts ago.

Just finished reinstalling Atheros driver but still stuck in the mud.You have been very kind and helpful for which I am very grateful but I think the time has come for me to say that I should not impose on you further.I have sent a letter of complaint to Virgin and now await their reply and that will determine as to whether I stay with Virgin or look elsewhere for my broadband service.
    Best Regards

P.S. Don't do this with your SH lol.

On a serious note could you please let us know when this issue is resolved?

    Any update?

Forgot to mention but did you try the following:

    Remove all 'wireless profiles' manually:
    - Click Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Networks > Right click to remove all wireless networks listed (Windows will detect the effect networks automatically and will allow you to establish connectivity again; use the 'network security key' if using a secured connection)

P.S. I'm back to the SuperHub now as I had to send my ASUS RT-N66U router back as I believe it was faulty. After getting a refund I'm going to try to solve my broadband issues as well. Sick and tired as I pay for Virgin Media's 60Mb service and average less than 30Mb but the thing that makes me angry is like now for example I'm writing this message on my 3G (Three) phone connection as I can't get Wi-Fi signal in my bedroom, it's not even big just your standard 3 bedroom semi-detached house.

I think the SH delivers poor speed and signal so I'm going to ask around again. Earlier I recommended the ASUS RT-N66U router simply from the reviews I read but from personal experience it wasn't much better but that could be because I think it was faulty or perhaps the reviews were exaggerated?? But surely not... too many people fill it with praise?!

Back to square one, the shit SuperDud and no Wi-Fi in my bedroom, the room I use broadband most, ffs.

Thanks for your latest information.Obtained the e-mail address of Virgins ceo and now his team are supposed to be investigating the problem. If you are interested in forwarding your complaint the address is:-neil.berkett@virginmedia.co.uk.The more customers that complain the more chance of some action being taken,at least we can live in hope.
