How to fix 'Default Gateway is not available' Troubleshooter
I have recently have gotten a new ISP xfinity, and am using a new router and modem. I am now having a problem where the internet randomly stops responding, and for it to be fixed I have to run troubleshooter. After running it it resolves the problem and says:
The default gateway is not available Fixed"
and the internet goes back to normal, until it happens again without minutes or hours.
I have an Arris modem and Netgear router. The modem has a coax cable, power, ethernet(black), and telephone jack. The netgear has a power, ethernet(black), and ethernet(yellow) going into the computer. I am running Windows 7 Home premium on a HP desktop computer.
I would appreciate any help, and if you need to know anything about my computer or internet setup just ask.
