Resetting a network on Win 7 Home Premium Desktop & laptop
I had a Work Group set up on my laptop and a desktop at work. I am now retired and want to set up a Home Group with that same laptop and my desktop at home. I understand that if Win 7 Home Premium has been set up with a Work Group (as my laptop was) it now cannot be set up as a Home Group. 1) Is that correct?
If that is correct, can two computers that were initially set up as a Work Group, now be reconfigured to be set up as a different Work Group. And if so, how? I have spent a great deal of time on this, firstly because I only discovered that Home Premium would not let you switch typs of `Groups`, but during the setup process there is no popups or anything to warn you about this.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
