internet slow connecting at every boot(yellow triangle)

I have a windows 7 VM which is getting the yellow triangle at every boot-up, while connecting to the internet. The triangle lasts up to a minute and then disapears. The machine is on a fixed IP on a home network(WORKGROUP).

Hello win7go,

Have you updated your Intel driver to the current one?
Intel Download Center

Also, it might help disabling the Power Management Mode. See attached image on how to disable it from Device Manager.

It may has improved slightly though the sequence is still the same; first the blue ring and then the yellow triangle. The blue ring might be because of the network drive(backup drive)?
Not sure about the triangle.
