Network Drive - Premissons Help

Hello, Guys

Basically I am trying to network my HDD around my house to share my music and file ect..., which I have done, its all working fine, but I am trying to figure out how I can change the Premissons for each user, so for example I can allow my Laptop to be able to change and delete files off my network drive but not the rest of the house.

Thanks Jonny

If there is anymore information I can give just tell me.

Sharing in a home network is user rather than device based. Because of this, the way to do what you wish is to set up multiple users (on all systems in the network), and when sharing give full access to any user you want to be able to edit remote files but only give basic access to others.

not as easy as when using a server but totally achievable
