    replacing motherboard - mac address

I am going to replace my motherboard. I was wondering if when I do this my Mac address would also change. The new board will be the same module as the previous one..

Yes, it will change if you`re using the network connection from the MB. Every network interface has it`s own mac address. It`s nothing to worry about.

OK I am very new to all of this. I recently had a problem with some one who knew me using the network and my IP and Mac address to remotely spy on me. I have been doing allot of research but I believe in the long run I have only confused my self more. so at the expense of sounding completely stupid can you please explain to me the difference between the boards network and any other network. And maybe give me some insight as to how I can stop this from happening. my privacy has been completely invaded. HELP!!?????

Every network card or on board network port. Has it's own MAC address. No network card has the same address unless someone is MAC spoofing. Hope this answers your question

OK so example, If I used my network then later used my friends network. My Mac address would remain the same in both because, my laptop has a network connection I would be using to log in to those individual networks. Is this correct?

If it helps at all this is what I do know about my situation. This person is using a third party application or program that needs the mac address of the computers being monitored remotely. He is taking screen shots of my computer. I have also noticed a few times that my webcam has been on and I did not turn it on. My emails have been gone through. It doesn't how many times I change my passwords. It still happens. I want to stop this some how .oh yeah I received a notice stating that my laptop was linked remotely with a device stating it was my laptop

Well for someone to do this isnt easy. If you have wpa encryption. You should use the longest pasword possible mix it up. Caps on and off, special char (eg @&%*!) also numbers. Also enable mac filtering on your router. For someone to access your network they still need the password. So they longer and stronger it is. It will take xvery long time
