Router Limited Access or No connectivity

    Hello,

I am having difficulties with establishing an internet connection on my pc(laptop).
I have IPTV. The TV works fine, but in the right hand side of the screen there appears a message:"Limited Access or no connectivity...".

My laptop has windows 7. Wheter I try to connect via wireless, or ethernet cable, I get the message: "Limited Access or no connectivity...". Both, Tv and Laptop are connected to Internet through a HG658 Huawei Router( 2 of the 4 lan ports are pre-configured by the ISP to work with TV's; the other 2 are for connecting computers.)

I am asking you, if the problem might be related with the router, or with my ISP.

I must mention that I, for some unknown reason, cannot access the router's default IP adrress("The page cannot be displayed" - in IE9. ")
My IP is static. Setting the DHCP mode to off(disabled) could somehow be causing these problems?

Please help me find the source of this headache...(I am now posting from a neighbour's computer).
    Thanks in advance.

It sounds as if your router is bad and you should give your ISP a call for a tech visit.

Should be 192.168.1.1 for that router.

You might want to try resetting the router using the reset button on the side, if you haven't saved a configuration file from this router then you will need to set it up again.

The ipconfig/all might show other reasons for the limited connection problem. :)
