    My Book Live (western digital) cant be found


    hi,
    im tring to connect "My Book Live" WD network drive.
    i did as order by connect the network cable to my router and downloaded the setup software that has no option but clicking next after the cable connection.

    in the instruction it says that the drive light need to by solid green and although mine is solid green it doesnt find the drive.


    any thoughts ?

    Hello,

    In addition, if you know the IP Address of the WD NAS, try pinging the IP from your computer.
    If you don't know the IP Address, download and install AdvancedIPScanner. Open up this free utility and it will scan all the devices in your network with its IP Address and Mac Addresses.

    You may also try another computer if you browse the URL (IP address) of the WD NAS.

    We'll appreciate an update.
