windows 7 wont remember wireless password

    nothing in those folders, interfaces has a folder w 2 files, both xml files.

    interfaces created a folder again with an xml file in it.

    So that folder gets written without issues. Password still not remembered?

    Goto network centre. Manage wireless networks. right click the wirelessnetwork with problems->properties.->Tab security. Make the password visible. post screenshot

    What do you see on the last line the secret password? It's not the password you entered?

    screenshot. still have to read your other posts. this password here is not my wireless password. not sure what its for?

    I see 2 profiles. one upper case, and the same name lower case. why 2? using your commands, ONE profile has the right wireless password, the other one don't.

    just did this then rebooted. still wont remember password for wireless.

    this system had xp on it and I upgraded to windows 7. not sure if that matters or not.

    on reboot it created that 2nd profile again with the wrong password.
