Windows 7: PC1 can't connect to PC2 but PC2 can connect to PC1

PC1 can't connect to PC2 but PC2 can connect to PC1

A bit of a cryptic title, I know.
I have two computers running the exact same version of Windows; 7 Home Premium x64.
The Secondary computer can connect to my Primary one (no user/pass dialogue required), but when I try to connect the other way around I get the attached image.
Both computers are "HomeGroup"ed, both computers have all shared between each other with full permissions. Both have the same HG password.
Why is the second computer free to browse mine (which I WANT), yet I can't access the other without a username/password prompt?
We both have the same antivirus too. IPv6 and 4 are both enabled, both have been rebooted.
ARG!
Thank you for your time

Welcome to Seven Forums,

See if the password protected sharing is turned on, you may turn it off by following one of Brink's Tutorial.

Most likely the anti virus is also what is creating the problem.

Many similar posts about this problem but with no common resolution although assumptions are bias towards anti virus problems or a few other possibilities.

Try disabling the built in Windows firewall temporarily.

Suggest you follow advice and links in my first post which describe the problem but with many possible solutions, A/V software being by far the most likely cause.

Yes it pays to follow advice here as it's usually quite accurate as you found out, and I just knew it was an A/V problem,..as usual.
