ALFA AWUS036H, Windows 7 ( Ultimate, x68 ), simply will not connect

1)

1. I plug in my wireless usb
2. It installs the part ( software wise )
3. It shows me other peoples wireless ( including mine )
4. I try connect to mine, with the correct password ( security key also? )
5. Unable to Connect to xx

I then browse the internet for a solution ( obviously not using that wireless usb, as I would not be posting if so.. )

2)

1. Uninstall previous driver ( software wise )
2. Put in CD that comes with wireless usb
3. Install the part and another piece of software I am guessing to make it easier to connect?
4. ALFA Wireless LAN Utility installed
5. ALFA Wireless LAN Utility loaded, I add the profile that is mine ( our network.. ) type in the correct key, etc
6. Status remains "Not Associated" even though it can track the other wireless's ( including mine ) it won't allow me to connect, and yes the key is correct..

Help me, please!

Cheers,

michael0000
