Do you have another Windows 7 laptop that uses that same network ?
If so on that laptop press the Windows logo key and the Letter R key . You should then get the Run window on the lower left hand side of the screen .
Type in ncpa.cpl press OK or press the Enter key on the Keyboard
You will now see all the network adapters in your machine, right-click on the wireless one and select Status from the context menu.
When the Wi-Fi Status dialog loads up, click on the Wireless Properties button
Click on the Security tab then click on Show characters . That will show you the WiFi password .
yes my laptop and cell both are online via wireless
so take the laptop that has internet and do what you said?
Before we do that open up the Device Manager on the laptop that has no Internet . Do you see any of these there ?
Click on the .
In the Start Search programs and files box type device manager and then press enter
guess im not doing something right. cant get it done
its a desktop and no there is none of those symbels
The PC that is having the issue is a Desktop ? Then it should be plugged into the Router by an Ethernet cable coming from the Ethernet port from your Desktop to the Ethernet Port on the back of the Router numbered 1-4 .
i have it on a usb wireless.
i havent had that problem in 4 months since i got it till yesterday
Ah ok . On a laptop that is connected to the same wireless that the Desktop suppose to connect to run the steps I provided on Post # 2
It will reveal the WiFi password
