Adding a secondary router to extend range

I have followed the guide that is on this site that explains on how to set it all up, and all that worked fine. But I want to have the secondary router wireless, meaning no wire between main router to secondary and here is where I run into problem, the phones connect fine to the main router when they get near it but they wont connect to the secondary router at all, 1 of my phone have accessed the secondary router as its MAC address is listed but it wont get an IP

Main router is a Asus RT-N56U
Secondary router is a Asus RT-N10E

So atm I am not quite sure what to do. Do I need to set static IP on all wireless objects to get it working?

I changed the mode of secondary router to AP and changed the mode under wireless bridge to hybrid on both so secondary router is now giving out IP addresses
