Well my computer feels cleaner, but it's still unable to access the network.
Can you open up the registry
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings do a prnt scrn where everything is shown and upload it ?
Open up an Elevated Command Prompt. Click on in type CMD . Right click on CMD under Programs (1) choose . On the User Access Control window click on the Yes button . Command Prompt opens up to C:\Windows\System32>_
Inside the Command Prompt . Paste this command inside
netstat –ano > %UserProfile%\Desktop\netstat.txt Press <ENTER>
Then type in
tasklist /svc > %UserProfile%\Desktop\tasklist.txt
Upload both of the text files Tasklist.txt and netstat.txt
Should be located on your desktop.
I've attached four things: two screenshots of the regedit (to fit everything) and both text files created from cmd prmpt.
I hope they're of some use!
In the registry delete the proxyHttp1.1 . Right click on it and choose Delete and press on the Yes button to confirm . Close registry restart and see if your Connection is working.
I deleted it, rebooted, hoped, but no change. You must be as frustrated as I am, if not more so!
Thank you for your perseverance.
Should I try deleting EnableHTTP1_1 as well?
Here's a screenshot of what happens when I try to install HouseCall antivirus:
Open the registry and navigate to these keys and delete the BOLDED items
