More than One Active connections

I have a proxy internet connection provided by my college and i mostly use VPN connections to bypass them

Now in previous days the proxy connection has been jittery so once the main proxy server was down for a few minutes after that im not able to access the internet

It always says the the DNS servers are not responding

Having multiple connections can cause some problems but how do you rectify it

get a command prompt and enter ROUTE PRINT

right under the row with the column headers is a line the begins 0.0.0.0 - - that's the default route and 99% of
your traffic will leave your system using that interface.

One connection is IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.10.3.45
and the other is IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.247.50

Whichever is the default, the other will starve for traffic unless you create some manual ROUTE ADD line.
HOWEVER, that will never multiplex between the two (ie multiplex: send once on A and the next on B and then back to A).
