Network Drives show red (low space) even though 250GB free

    Hi,

We have large volumes connected to users here, but silly Windows thinks that 250GB of 3TB is running out of space! Is there a group policy or registry hack that will allow us to not mark a network drive as having low space?

    Thanks

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

See if this tutorial will help, it's for Vista but should work on 7 Low Disk Space Warning in Vista

May I add, if it is a network drive you would have to perform the above tutorial on all clients that will be accessing that drive since the tutorial will only apply to the local machine.

    Hope This Helps,
    Josh! :)

In order for Windows to use a drive over 2TB it must be partitioned for GTB. Not sure if this relates to your problem but it seems relevant.
