Cannot connect to wireless internet, identifying loop, stuck.

Hey people,
Having a wifi problem that I am yet to solve through research. When I try to connect to my home wifi it will firstly try to connect, then begin to identify it, but then it will stop and go back to not being connected. It wont connect automatically and there are yellow shields with exclamation marks inside of them next to the network. I am able to connect through a wired connection as I am right now and I have been doing some research into what the problem could be. I have tried almost everything (Resetting adapters, winsock, etc.) and I am not having any luck. I did manage to connect for about 10 minutes after I had set a static IP but it quickly went back to how it is now. Other people are able to connect to the same network though, so I believe the problem lies within the computer. Any suggestions are much appreciated and if any more information is needed I would be more than happy to give it.
