How do I set fixed IP addresses for my 2 printers and 2 laptops

Every time one of us goes off to do a client presentation, we have to re-enable our printers to start printing again. Maybe I'm clueless, but my son also followed the YouTube video without success. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Can you go into a little more detail about this problem? Are you setting the static (fixed) IP and it wont save? Do you disconnect when you go to do a client presentation? We need more info to help you further.

Go into more detail about going off for a client presentation (ie.. what you take with you, what do you unplug, etc) and what you're doing when you re-enable it.

In addition to mhansen1's post can you please upload the IP configuration of one of the laptops that you want a static IP address assignment so that we can better understand what the need is for as well as be able to propose a potential IP address stack to use. To do so please follow this tutorial and post back your results - Network Posting Tips

Many Thanks,
Josh!

Hi users -please post when your problem is fixed (or even not fixed)
Hi everyone now I don't mind spending some time trying to help people and am glad for the hints and fixes I've got off these sites --but it does seem to me to be a trend with some of the newer users that they post a problem --you reply --and these guys never post a follow up --like it worked or...

Do laser printers have the same ink issues as inkjet printers?
I currently have an inkjet printer and although I am happy with the quality of the printing one thing really annoys me about it. I very hardly ever use my printer so the ink always drys and needs a deep clean before it will work again. This means that I can use my printers 4 times before I...
