How to setup WAMP to work over the internet?

There is a WAMP server (Win 7 pro 32bits) which needs to be accessed over the internet. Access to WAMP from another computer in the local network is ok. Access to Remote Desktop throught the internet also works. But access to WAMP over the internet does not work.

Would like to receive some instruction on how to proceed in order to enable access this web server from the internet.

    Thanks in advance.

Does your router/default gateway set for the server have NAT running?

The issue with NAT is that any private address is changed to the public address and any connection from the internet will not know what address to reach unless originally initiated by a device (PAT)

May I ask, How are you initiating the Remote Desktop connection? Via hostname or IP address?

Also have you made sure that the correct ports are allowed on the personal firewall of the server (If any) as well as the router itself as this can block certain ports. Please note that it is possible for your ISP to block certain ports depending on the package you have with them however these are normally uncommon ports to prevent malicious attacks.

    Many Thanks,
    Josh! :)

It was found that ISP was blocking port 80, configuring router to forward 8080 to 80 solved the problem.

    Thank you!
