Windows did not detect any networking hardware

Hello!
I recently reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) on my desktop. Now, I am unable to connect to the internet. Whenever I use Windows Network Diagnostics it informs me I need to "install a driver for my network adapter". However, using the "connect to the Internet" option from the Control Panel>Network and Internet informs me that "Windows did not detect any networking hardware". I would greatly appreciate any assistance and will gladly get back to you with any information you desire.

In addition, it appears that my video card is not being recognized as well, given that my screen resolution is incorrect and the dxdiag shows my video card as "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter". I assume that it's also a driver issue that I can resolve once I have my internet working.

Hello TheHumbleDespot, welcome to the Seven Forums.

You need to find a PC with Internet access and download drivers for your GPU and network controller. Download them to a USB stick or other removable media, then transfer to your PC and install.

Not knowing what network controller you have I cannot help you there. Your Nvidia GPU drivers can be found here: GeForce GTX 560 Ti and GeForce GTX 550 Ti

You need to download drivers for your motherboard from here: MSI USA ? Motherboard - Z68A-G45 (B3)
At a minimum, you need to download the chipset and ethernet drivers. As Kari said, download on another computer to a USB stick and then install on your computer. That should make it so you can access the internet. Once your computer has internet access, then go here: Drivers | GeForce to find the drivers for your video card.

As Strollin here above tells you, the most important is the chipset driver. It might even be that Windows finds working GPU and NIC drivers as soon as the motherboard / chipset drivers are installed.

Thank you all for your replies.
After installing the chipset and ethernet drivers as strollin suggested, I was able to get access to the internet. Thanks again for your replies! After getting internet access, I was able to get the Nvidia drivers as well. Everything appears to be functioning as normal, and I will mark the thread as solved. And as maxie suggested I'll add the missing numbers of the motherboard to my specs.
