New Custom Build Computer, Slow WiFi Download Speed
Built a new machine. I have a Belkin N600 DB wireless adapter installed, same as the old machine (which was running Windows XP). New computer is in the same spot, router (Netgear N600) is in the same spot. 1 intervening wall. Old machine was able to download at 600+ kbps. The new machine, no matter what site, can only get to ~150 kbps. Speed under Connection Status is 130 MBPS, signal quality is 4 bars. OS is up to date, router firmware is up to date, adapter drivers are up to date. I must be missing some setting in the OS or adapter that is restraining the download speed. Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance,
