    Maping Drives

I have a networked hard drive. It has three folders, one for music, one for photos and one for data files. I am able to map the music and data folders as drives. However, I can't map the photo folder, on my desktop running Windows 7 home premium. I have 2 laptops with the same version of windows and they map all three. All the settings look good to me, but I'm not an IT professional.

    HELP

    Hello,

I have posted on your other Thread, I don't know if you have established Homegroup correctly.

These tips might be of helped to troubleshoot file sharing. If you are using any 3rd party Security or Firewall Software disable them temporarily for debugging purpose.

My 2 posts are separate problems. First I want to map folders on a networked external drive (sort of a personal cloud). Second I want to share a folder between 2 users on the same desktop. Everything is Windows 7. Sorry for the confusion.

I just posted in your other Thread. Please read it, that might resolve your issue. IMO your 2 Threads are related.
