    Connectify wifi hotspot issue

I'm trying to share my computers internet connection with my iPhone and I'm trying to use Connectify for that. I had this in my computer before and it worked fine but recently I had to re-install my computer. Now I'm trying to connect to the WiFi hot spot created by Connectify but I can't seem to get a connection. When iPhone gets connected, it retrieves an IP out of the local network(164.XX.XX.XX) thus avoiding me going to the internet from the Phone. How do I go about this?

    Hello,

Try disabling your in-built Windows Firewall or 3rd party program firewall (if there's any) for debugging purpose. See this link to help you troubleshoot the issue.

    We'll appreciate an update.

I was using ESET Smart Security and it's firewall was the issue. When I disabled it, everything worked fine with Connectify. Problem resolved. Thanks.

You're Welcome, happy to hear that your issue has been resolved by disabling the Firewall.
