How do I set file permissions for internet users?

    Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question, but I'm wondering how to set permissions for a file in Windows 7 so that a user on the internet can access it? I am running an Apache webserver from my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 machine, and I have php and Perl scripts that need to be accessed by users outside my network (such as a FormMail script.) I can see where to change permissions for users on the computer and in the network, but now how to set it so that outside users can connect to it.

    Thanks!
    Jason

Hello and welcome Jason mate I am not real sure of why you would want to do this surely emailing the file to someone is just as easy or do you want multiple net users to access it? If so then I suggest you make the security on the machine set to max safety!!
