Can't access a specific domain... help pls.

I have a "situation" with a specific domain that I just can't seem to get resolved, so I'm here for some help - pls... Recently I managed to get myself infected with Whitesmoke's conduit translater virus, and think that this might be connected to the problem. The problem is that I can't get to ANY URL associated with Stratics.com. This is true for IE 10, latest Chrome and latest Firefox. None of them can access any url associated with Stratics.com. Now here's where it gets tricky. This system is wireless to my router and so is the laptop that sits in the other room. Both use the same signal from the router. The laptop can ping and tracert Stratics.com just fine, but my system here times out part way there. My hosts file is fine, btw.

What the heck is going on?
