Cant seem to access shared files over home network
Alright so I have a home network set up with 4 devices connected. 3 of which are laptops, one is my desktop.
The laptops all connect just fine, I can get into shared folders across each one, no problem with the network or the homegroup/sharing.
However, for some reason on my desktop, I cant seem to access any of those shared files, I go into "My Computer" and click "Network" in the left pane, it takes a while to load, and then nothing. If i do this on any of the laptops I see a list of all connected network devices (even my router and printer).
The desktop is connected to the same wireless network, and a member of the same homegroup as the laptops.
I cant really think of what would be causing this problem.
I use an android phone as my desktops usb wifi adapter, could that perhaps be the issue? Should I go out and buy a USB or PCI wifi adapter?
Thanks in advance!
