    how do i stop wireless from disconnecting?


    I have a belkin f5d8236-4 n router my wireless disconnects while on my laptop watching videos or just browsing online my laptop its a lenovo v570 but my wired connection doesn't disconnect my internet provider said it could be the wireless card or interference my signal bar is 5 is there a way to fix this?

    Use the Belkin tutorials to reset,

    Any wifi.... drivers would be available at the Computer manufactures website under Help-support driver updates.

    router has already been reset multiple times. i bought the laptop last year i went to lenovo driver page to update but the wireless driver says released date 2011 is it fine to still use those?

    When installing the drivers it says they're already installed

    I use my iphone to connect to internet no problem with it on there

    It may be the "Power Saving" feature kicking in on the laptop (especially if you are on battery and not connected to a power source).

    Take a look at the Workaround section here
    You may experience connectivity issues or performance issues when you connect a mobile PC that is running Windows Vista or Windows 7 to a wireless access point

    Its not running on battery its plugged in on the adapter

    This happens to my laptop too. I think that you should just log off and log back on or restart the computer. (Restarting works better) I have been doing that since August and I'm yet to find a solution.
