Running a USB Datacard and Ethernet broadband together.
I have got a Broadband connection downstairs. In my PC I have got a USB Datacard connection.
Recently the guys downstairs got a Wi-Fi modem (D-Link). I setup a method of using my android as a wi-fi receiver and use it on my PC. It works well.
Now the issue is, how do I use both connections together?
For example, lets say I am connected on the USB datacard. When I connect the phone, it then sort of 'over-writes' itself onto the current network, and the previously attached USB datacard I was using is completely ignored for any network activity.
Example 2: Steam is running. Now when I connect my phone, it logs off and logs on, that means its switching over to the other fresh network I just connected. Same for any ongoing downloads.
In the network adapter settings, The Wifi shows up as ethernet connection ,and the USB datacard shows up as Dial-up. When I try to bridge the connections, it doesn't work. The option of bridging only appears when I right click the wi-fi connection.
Is it not possible to have the USB datacard (dial up) and ethernet connection(broadband) be bridged together? Or is this a Windows 7 technical limitation?
I hope I made myself clear.

Not a limitation of Windows but a general limitation of fundamental network connectivity. The thread below may give you some possible alternatives for you.
force programs to connect through specific network?
Hope this helps,
