Connect Win 7 Pro x64 system with Win XP Pro via Bluetooth

I've been trying to figure out how to connect two different Bluetooth enabled systems, Desktop Win 7 Pro x64 and Notebook Win XP Pro, via Bluetooth to send files without success.

My notebook is an old Dell Inspiron 8000 with Pentium III @ 1GHz with 500MB memory running Win XP Pro 32-bit. The USB Bluetooth device is a KINIVO BTD-400. It utilizes the Broadcom software and drivers.

    The BTD-400 specs indicate:
-Bluetooth 4.0 with dual mode - Classic mode and Low energy mode.
    -Interface: USB 1.1 / 2.0
-Backwards compatible with Bluetooth 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0

The Win 7 Pro x64 system has the Intel MSI MS-3871 WLAN 802.11b/g/n 1T1R+BT2.1 EDR Combo Slim Module. The Bluetooth drivers are Motorola's Bluetooth Software Suite.

Does anyone know how to do this? I think it's just a Win 7 and Win XP Bluetooth network issue. I was on the Microsoft website, but didn't see anything that explained the solution.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Regards

I was able to resolve the issue. I can now transfer files between the two systems. It's a lot easier than a cable connection.
