    Lost control of my Computer!

I am working on a wired connection, but have to supply a connection for my Wife's Laptop running Vista Ultimate x32 while I run Windows 7 Ultimate X64. I just installed DD-WRT Firmware on my Linksys E4200 and have had a good experience with it. It is Version dd-wrt V24-210161_NEWD2_K26_big-NV60K.bin. NOW! THE PROBLEM!
I just added a New Intel 335 Series 240 GB SSD-the second on this computer. My intention was to download Windows 8 Pro I bought some while back from Microsoft on the new second SSD, but now find I can't use the Disk Management Tool or Disk Part. With the Disk Management, I get a message about VDS can't load ??? can't function or something! Disk Part gives a similar message- Can't start because it is disabled or has no devise associated with it ! I just can't remember exactly. I wish I had the good since to write down the error message, but at any rate it won't function as it once did! I have no control of my Computer!
I have a Cable Broadband ISP-Comcast, my Modem is a D-Link DCM 202, my Router is a Linksys E4200 with the mentioned DD-WRT Firmware, and I have AVG Internet Security 2013 on this computer and Norton on the Wireless Laptop. I know you will cruse me for not being able to tell you the error message, but I suppose it was caused by me selecting Microsoft to manage my Network! I need to manage my computer so I can add Disk and OS as I see fit! I am attempting to attach my IP Config/all! I hope you can make sense of this-I sure can't!

Harmie I will probably get a flogging for this but mate why don't you just unplug the other drives and install the 8 straight to the SSD? Clean Install - Windows 8

If I were you, I would go the easy route and install Windows 8 in a virtual partition. That has a lot of advantages and especially off an SSD there will be no performance impact.
