WIFI not working after I have formatted

I have formatted my laptop on Monday, and now it wont connect to the internet or even recognise a connection.

I have been on the acer website and downloaded the Wireless LAN driver and installed everything, and it is still saying that the Intel wireless network adaptor was not found....

    GRR, frustrated

Yes you should. If it helps any, the make of the CPU has no bearing on what the wireless is. Then once you have it if you have a spare USB key (or even burn to CD/DVD) the correct driver as well as any others you may need for the future, save them so you don't have to download/look for them again.

You're very welcome kimmmmmmm, Glad we were able to help you, As stormy13 pointed out to you, having an Intel chipset does not mean every other piece of hardware belongs to Intel
