There is a whole thread about your problem on the Lenovo site. Y560 is unable to connect to internet. - Lenovo Community See if you can put your head with others if you can't find out anything here. Thanks,
My Internet is currently working :P
But I just wanna ensure that this issue doesn't come back to haunt me.
Ahh ok, in this case they will come back to haunt you when there are enough of them to overload your network stack. The only thing the system restore did was to take you back to a point in time where there weren't so many tunnel adaptors which is what was crippling your system.
They usually show up in the ipconfig/all, I'm not sure why they aren't showing up there in your case.
I do have a file that will get rid of them all for you without having to do it manually.
There is a 32 and 64 bit version of this tunnel adaptor removal file, just run the one that is appropriate for your system.
You should think about updating the network driver and the firmware for your router as there is probably a compatibility problem that is causing this tunnel adaptor problem.
