I've narrowed it down to when I enter my network information, https goes away
Where do you enter network information? https is working before you do that?

Thanks for the rep gifpaste.
lol ya.. i'm so baffled but just glad thats over.

i power cycled the modem the day i had trouble, waiting a minute, then after it was fully on doing the router next. perhaps it was i needed to power cycle the modem _after_ i fully configured the router

was just super weird when I got https to work briefly for a couple minutes then halt

either way... *steps slowly away from router/modem* it is working now and i have 1 more trick up my sleeve for next time

rep for you both for helping thx again

Ugh.. this literally just started happening again today mid-session. It was working fine since I last posted and was working fine for about 3 hours this morning since I woke up, but now mysteriously I can no longer access https sites again

plugging directly into the cable modem works, then as soon as i plug back into the router https no longer works
