Packet loss between laptop and router

Hi,

I tried to determine the source of my problem, but I can't
see any development, so I decidec to post here.
I have huge lagg spikes in my apartment while using Wifi. I attached screens, so you can fully understand what I mean.
What I tried already:
- Asking my housmates, but they experienced nothing like that, first I doubted them, but the next time when I had a spike, I checked a ping to our router on their computer, but they had constant 1-2ms.
- Changing the Antenna to a stronger one. (I had it at home, I don't know the exact type now, but it is bigger )
- Changing router (same model, but v1 If I remember well)
- Changing wifi channels, tried almost every possible. (1-12)
- Windows 7 Reinstall (not becouse of this, but didn't solve anything, I am not sure If my network driver Is a newer version than before or not.)
- When I had a spike, I brought the laptop as near as possible to the router, but it was not better at all.
EDIT: - I tried on Ubuntu as well, had the same problem.

Details:
Wifi Network
Router: TP-Link WR340G v5 081520C2
ISP: Hungarian DigiNET DIGI
Type: Cable I think (I only have a LAN cable provided, no modem or anything)
I don't use firewalls on my laptop, I only have Microsoft Security
Essentials as an av.

Edit: Oh, I am stupid, I have a latency spike, not a packet loss. Sorry.

Do the ping spikes occur on any other wireless network? Typically, latency spikes are either caused by a wireless channel issue or driver issue. That being said some wireless NICs can go bad therefore the checking on a different wireless network may help.

What is the make/model of your wireless NIC? If you do not know, what is the make/model of your computer so we can provide an appropriate driver to try.

Last shot would be to check third party software however if a re-install did not yield any benefit then the chances of that being the cause is slim.

Driver is still a suspect regardless of operating system used. Have you checked for any firmware updates on the router itself since these can resolve some issues?

Run some pings and file transfers and see if it has improved. Based on your previous results I hope it has!

You're seeding torrents? That would explain some of the massive spikes and reliability issues.

Torrent seeding affects latency as well as bandwidth. If enough people attempt to access your machine for the required files for peer to peer you could essentially be a victim of a denial of service attack. All I am trying to say is that I wouldn't be surprised if torrent seeding had a part in the latency spikes.
