    Hi,

I need to access to a wireless protected bye Cisco LEAP.

On windows vista, I install Intel/Proset wireless on my HP6730b and the Cisco LEAP security is present.

But on windows seven, after I install this software, no Cisco LEAP security is present.

I also have an Intel Wireless 4965AG and need to use Cisco LEAP to connect to my wireless network at work. In any dialog, I only see Microsoft PEAP - any fix to this issue?

    Security Wireless Cisco LEAP

What I did to get leap to work on W7 was download intel wireless proset for windows vista ultimate, saved the .exe
    right clicked .exe
Then go to Properties-> Select Compatibility tab-> Check Run this program in compatibility mode -> select windows vista service pack 1.
then you should have the option to select leap authentication.

Downloaded the file ICS_v32 and set the compatibility mode but did not get the option to use leap authentication. Any other ideas? Thanks

Thanks for your help but I do not have the authentication options that I would expect to see. Is there any way to tell if I have the correct proset download? The options I have are Open, WEP, WPA + WPA2 for personal+enterprise and WEP, nothing takes me to a LEAP config.

Theses are the setting I used to set up my Wireless(attachment), I believe you can only use Leap with WPA Security but not 100 percent sure

Make sure you have a intel wireless adapter or the intel wireless software will not work, here is some of the
Download Software, Drivers and Utilities Search Results.

make sure you get the right model for your adapter and the right bit

I have a 5300 model adapter and I use a 64 bit os and the one that worked for me was

Intel® WiFi Link 5300 and Intel® WiFi Link 5100 products
File Name: Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility for Windows Vista* 64-Bit
